Case study applications that provide realistic test data for the continuing development of AirWare include primarily the WEBAIR test cases but also a number of cases from previous or parallel AirWare applications and EU funded RTD projects:

The AirWare system and the WEBAIR project build on a number of projects and their case studies and data, including OPTAIR supported by the Austrian FFG,   eConsulting supported the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation ans Technology (bmvit), and the EUREKA pre-cursor project E!1388 AIDAIR.   Major international RTD projects include:

EUREKA projects E!3266 WEBAIR & E!1388 AIDAIR that develop real-time models and transportation system linkages.		SUTRA has analysed the relationship between urban land use, transportation, and the environment.		ISIREMM, an INCO Copernicus project, was dealing with the integration of monitoring data and a case study for Tomsk, Siberia.
The Telematics applications project ECOSIM, has developped a flexible client-server architecture based on TCP/IP and http, linkage to state-of-the-art dynamic 3D photochemical models, as well as to other environmental models in the urban domain		The ESPRIT HPCN project SIMTRAP, has addressed urban traffic problems and the integration of dynamic traffic simulation and parallel urban scale photochemical modeling		The ESPRIT HPCN project HITERM, was addressing issues of technological risk assessment, planning, training, and emergency management, including local emergency simulation models
