Model Validation
compares the data of individul monitoring stations with the model results extracted from the corresponding grid cell; compliance with the EU Directive 1999/30/EC on model accuracy for hourly values is shown for each station, and across all stations. CAMx, photochemical modeling
Validation examples, sets of 24 hourly values from multi-day runs with full CBM4 photochemistry (evaluated against the EU Directive 1999/30/EC on model accuracy) include:
• NO2, Nitrogen dioxide,
• CO, Carbon monoxide
• O3, Ozone
from episodes in June and August, 2001.


MM5/WRF, meteorological modeling
shows the comparison of hourly values from MM5 results (bottom layer) and monitoring data for a nine day period.
