The web-based implementation of AirWare provides regular daily 72 hour forecasts and hourly nowcasts (CO, SO2, NO/NO2/NOx, O3, PM10/2.5) for a set of nested model domains, using a combination of the 3D prognostic numerical weather forecast model MM5 and the photochemical Eulerian code CAMx for the entire island ( 1 km resolution) and selected city domains (250 m). Very high-resolution (10 m) modeling of city level traffic generated pollution is based on the regulatory advanced Gaussian model AERMOD as computational kernel, convolution, and mixing zone model.
