Chemical Process Plant TEMPLATE

The definition of an object class like the chemical process plants consistes of
  • the object TEMPLATE
  • the associated Descriptors that provide the link to the expert system and the default method for data update: editing and/or inference by th expert system
  • the set of Rules used by the expert system for the (optional inference.

Chemical plants are represented by a hierarchy of objects classes, implemented in HOT.

This hierarchy can include, as an example:

   PROCESS PLANT
      PRODUCTION UNIT
        PRODUCTION LINE
          REACTOR
        STORAGE AREA
          CONTAINER GROUP
             CONTAINER
      WAREHOUSE
        LOADING DOCK

An example for the main chemical plant object is given below:
