The on-line manuals for WaterWare consists of several sets of
related documents all in hypertext (HTML) format, which are also directly
linked from the respective applications.
The on-line implementation allows regular updates,
easy navigation and full-text search,
and simple printing, if required, by the user.
Reference Manual
Contains technical background information, data format and interface definitions,
data import guidelines, description of all interactive tools, editors, and model interfaces,
and the underlying data base structures.
Target audience are experienced users and systems administrators who
are involved with the maintenance and update of WaterWare and
its data bases.

system for normal users who access the system primarily through
its interactive interface.

this section based on the CouseWare distance leqarning system
(currently under development)
will contain interactive lectures with feedback based on
multiple-choice tests that introduce into the use,
and maintenance, of the WaterWare system with on-line examples.
