RiverBasinObject: WasteWater Treatment Plants

Treatment plant objects affect water quality, usually ayttached to either settlements (municipal wastewater) industries, or also possibly larger farms; conceptually, they are related to drinking water purification plants, and structurally similar.

Purification plants are represented by a sub-type of treatment plant nodes

They are primarily described by their HEADER and the hypertext description and imagery.

Attributes are grouped into topics and shown in pop-up windows that are triggered by BUTTONS.
They include:

1. Technology describing the treatment plant in terms of technology, capacity input and output water quality, and local storage;
2. Economics describes the economics of the plant;
3. Links to other objects: Please note that a treatment plant should be linked to the outflow from a demand node i.e., a city, tourist resort, or industry. the source of wastewater, and then be fed back into the river network or possible an aquifer (confluence or recharge node).
