They are primarily described by their HEADER and the hypertext description and imagery.

Attributes are grouped into topics and shown in pop-up windows that are triggered by BUTTONS.
They include:

1. City describes population size and household structure, per capita demand and water technologies/policies employed, and the land cover details such as sealed surfaces.
2. GISLeads to optional detailed city maps.
3. Supply describing water related technology and infrastructure such as wells, canals, local storage capacity purification, pipe network, and losses, sewer system and and waste water treatment facilities;
4. Demand summary of water demand, historical records.
5. Economics describes the major economic activities or sectors and their respective demand and wastewater release patterns, as well as water pricing.
6. Links to other objects: Please note that a settlement should be linked to a source of water, a river reach, well, or reservoir; other related objects include treatment and purification plants.
