RiverBasinObject:  Reaches

Reaches are describing contiguous sections of natural or man made open channels.

Reaches are described by their HEADER and the hypertext description and imagery. Attributes are grouped into topics and shown in pop-up windows that are triggered by BUTTONS.
They include:

1. Geometry basic geometry and GIS link;
2. CrossSections list of individual detailed cross sections;
3. Links to other objects, in particular flow monitoring stations and their (optional) rating curves.

• location (GIS link);
• length, elevation difference;
• average depth, width (at mean flow);
• discharge and level range, speed of flow (range);
• bank structure, material, vegetation;
• bed structure and material (sediments),
