      Location Setup Defaults

The basic set of (application or location specific) defaults settings are defined in the location setup defaults a data base Table (GLOBAL.LOCATION) with an interactive editor interface linked to the administrative tools.

The table contains a list of (configuration) parameters each with a sequence number (to control display sorting), an text/description flied; auxiliary fileds include a delete option (red X) and the last modification date, that leads to a table of modifications logged with: DATE, old and new value, user.

To change a value, type the new value in the respective fiels, and preass: save alternatively, enter the paramteer name and new value in the fields on the top of the page, and save.

The new value together with the modification date will be shown into the refreshed table.
The available parameters (additional parameters from the GLOBAL.LOCATION table can be added by the (admin) user) can be grouped with the help of the numerical sorting parameter (leftmost filed) by any arbitrary user user convention; a possible example based on the CYPRUS implementation is shown below:

      • 000 - 099 general application parameters

      • 200 - 299 GIS, spatial input data
      • 300 - 399 CAMx model related
      • 400 - 499 not used in the example
