      Buildings

        Buildings can be linked to Building Points describe arbitrary points of special interest in a model domain.

        Building OBJECTS add to that the specific geomtry, administrative data, and the parameters such as emission rates needed for the dynamic simulation of indoor air pollution in echange with ambient pollutant concetrations extracted from a model scenario for the associated building point.

      Basic building data

        The basic data stored with a building include:
        • hyptext description, imagery;
        • location and geometry (see below);
        • basic attributes
        • emission data.

      Building attributes inclued:
      • Location, with province and municipality (the button contact in the header leads to a summary of administrative data including address and contacts)
      • type of building, year of construction
      • total area and floor area overall storeys;
      • romm height (average) and total volume;
      • air echange rate and filter efficiency (for ambient air intakes).

      Emission data

      These describe the emission inside the building for substances:

      • NO, NO2, NOx
      • TSP, PM10, PM2.5
      • CO, VOC, SO2
      • Radon
      • Trichlorethylene, Tetrachlorethylene

      • Formaldehyde
      • Naphtalene
      • Benzene
      • Benzo[a]pyrene
      • arbitrary tracer.

      Building layout

      which can consist of one or several linked polygons.
