MINTEQA2: Metal Speciation Equilibrium Model for Surface and Ground Water

DESCRIPTION

MINTEQA2 is a geochemical equilibrium speciation model for dilute aqueous systems. The model is an update of MINTEQ, which was developed by combining the fundamental mathematical structure of MINEQL with the well-developed thermodynamic database of WATEQ3. Because of MINTEQA2's public domain status, extensive feedback has been received from users on needed corrections and enhancements.

This model was last updated and released by EPA's Center for Exposure Assessment Modeling (SEAM) in 1991, and is in need of updating.
