IDRO-2: Rainfall-Runoff Model

DESCRIPTION

It is a classical rainfall-runoff model for a river catchment. Such a catchment can be subdivided in subcatchments and each subcatchments in turn into various layers each representing the area between two elevation values. The model takes then into account snow melting, water evaporation, water infiltration and water runoff. It simply models the behaviour of the aquifer to determine the low flow values and routs down the flow along the river system, taking into account the possible presence of reservoirs.
