Emissions in AirWare are managed for a different classes of emission sources including
point sources (elevated stacks), area sources, line sources (traffic) and mobile sources
including 3D trajectories for airports (TOL cycles).
Emissions can be based on static (long term average) data and temporal patterns,
time series (historical or real-time stack emission monitoring),
or be calculated dynamically with a range of models, including the wind erosion (entrainment)
of dust (PM10, 2.5) from natural soils.
A range of PEMS models are available from simple emission factors,
fuel-quality based combustion models, to multi-attribute statistical models,
case-based-reasoning and SNN.
