1. Upgrade to CAMx version v4.5
   • use of CAMx chemistry mechanism CB05 (replaces CB04)
   • CAMx interactive scenarios: New Comparison page (substitutes Compliance page )
   • automatic animation movie (mpeg) generation for interactive CAMx scenarios

2. AERMOD nowcast:
   • integration of traffic (high-resolution convolution method)

3. AERMOD traffic:
   • extension to 24 hour runs
   • pattern selection enabled

4. AERMOD EIA:
   • includes the choice of line sources
   • new interface
   • pattern selection enabled

5. Emission Control Optimization
   • Linkage of scenario editor with the technology data base
   • current developments:
     • multiple technologies per source
     • link of scenario editor to emission source data base

6. Emission sources:
   • intereactive (on-screen) editing of geometries for line and area sources
   • complex source objects:
     • added area sources to compound Plant Objects
     • introduced comples area sources with (EMEP style) multiple sectoral emissions with individual emission patterns (beta version)

7. Monitoring Stations:
   • Time series analysis: Comparison page for meteo ensembles
   • Tabbed view groups for all attached TS according to their type; types supported: CAMx, Observed, MM5, WRF, Other
   • Data analysis:
     • Extended attribute list
     • Second Level: Statistics and graphical display of distribution (classification) per attribute.
     • Comparison: Compares two attributes of an object class, displays distribution, correlation

   • Model Scenario Comparison:
     • direct comparsion of two model scenarios (AERMOD, CAMx) with calculation of absolute and relative deltas

   • Model Validation Page:
     • linked to Model Scenario Objects, compares monitoring data for all stations with model results (2008/50/EC and user defined standards)

   • Embedded GIS, Object Map display:
     • Individual shape/color display configuration per class.

   • Meteorological forecasts
     • Optional use of WRF
     • GRIB2 data pre-processing
     • extension of forecasting periof to up to 5 days
     • optional use of ensemble forecasts
